<description>For Christmas I gave my family a DVD set containing video from our get togethers. I converted the VHS videos to a digital format, edited the videos in iMovie, and designed the set complete with a belly band to hold the three DVDs together.

<description>For my dad's 50th birthday, we threw him a surprise party. He's an avid coin collector, so I used a silhouette of his head for a half dollar coin on the front of the invitation. Too bad we couldn't actually design a coin to give him...

<description>Knowing my internship at Brew Creative was going to be finished, I sought out to create a self promotion that I could mail to places
I wanted to work. Wrapping my colorful scarves around different statues in St. Paul and Minneapolis, I photographed them and made
them into postcards. Each postcard has a different saying depending on the statue. A self mailing envelope that holds all six postcards
is sealed with a sticker that has my own personal icon on it (which also appears on the back of each postcard).

<description>For the 2010–2011 CVA Planner I wanted to capture Saint Paul in all its splendor. The different ethnicities that make up our wonderful
city, the structures and architecture, the monuments and sculptures: basically what makes Saint Paul different than other cities (such as Minneapolis). I wanted each page in the planner to be something different. There are close-up photographs and hand-lettered typography expressing the different neighborhoods that comprise the unique city of Saint Paul.

Limitations include: a white border around all the pages and everything in black &#38; white.

CVA hand-rendered type on its own and in the crest.

<description>A ski wear clothing company based in Colorado, Neve wanted to update their brand. Working on this project with seasoned designer Dan Olson (of Studio Mpls), we came up with many different concepts consisting of an outdoor, European, modern feel. The final logo that was chosen is an uppercase “N” that resembles a slope with trees. Along with redesigning the logo, we created a brand book for the company
to follow, a stationery system (including business cards that were letterpressed at Studio On Fire as seen on Beast Pieces and Card Gala),
a hang tag, outdoor signage, and trade booth applications.

<description>From a personal love of scarves (in all seasons), I created this personal mark for myself. It is a continuous line spelling out "EW" with tassels on the ends.

<description>Attempting to determine the effects of tourism and precipitation on the tide levels in Venice, Italy, the graph is divided into the twelve
months of 2007 and are broken down further into the three categories: tourists, the sea level, and precipitation. Graphical elements (dots,
a thick line, and angled hatch marks) are used to illustrate the three different categories.

<description>While traveling throughout Europe I collected a postcard from each tourist destination my friend and I went to. Along with purchasing books and the other random articles you collect, my backpack was filled with hundreds of postcards. Instead of throwing them away, I decided to bind them into accordion books, one for each city visited. The depth of each book depends on the time spent in each city. Pisa, for example, was the shortest stay and therefore the smallest book.
